The previous pages will have given you just a brief overview of our services. If you would like to learn more, please follow these steps:

1) Register your contact details

We will hold your details in an on-line account, which you can access (or remove) at any time. You will need to choose a log-in name and password and fill out a form. We'll be notified automatically once you've created your account, and soon after we will authorize it, giving you access to much more information (see 3 and 4 below). Unless you have already registered a program with OSoLiS, you should start by creating a new account. If you have already registered a program with OSoLiS, then you should use your existing log-in name and password to log in. You will be shown the contact details we already have on file for you. There are a few extra pieces of information we will ask you for. Just submit these details to create your author account. Please note that we will not pass your details to any other organization. We may occasionally send e-mails on behalf of other organizations, but you can opt not to receive these.

2) Test out our licensing system as a customer

By registering as an author, you are automatically registered as a regular customer. This means you can immediately log in as a software buyer to obtain licenses for SIVL-compliant programs. You will find a freeware program, URL Organizer 1, that you may download in order to test out the licensing system. Follow the instructions to obtain a license and download a Personal License Register.

3) Check out details of our services and contract with authors

Soon after creating your account you will hear from us that your author account has been opened up. The next time you log into your account, you'll see a new link to the 'Info-Zone'. Here you'll find more details about SIVL, our services to authors, and you'll be able to review our contract with authors.

4) Test out our licensing system as an author

From within the Info-Zone (see 3 above) you'll be able to test out the licensing system from the point of view of an author. You'll see how easily you can set prices, check sales figures, etc.

5) Sign up

In the Info-Zone (see 3 above) you'll find instructions on how to go about signing a contract with OSoLiS.
